Friend needs help

Friend has a USX 2100 and has two Infinity refrence 12" and was wondering how he should run it I suggested bridged parallel but I think circuit city hooked it up bridge serial any comments welcomed

what are the ohm ratings of the subs?

was ohm is the amp stable at?

series (8ohm mono load for 2 svc subs)(will only see half the output of the amp)

parallel/series (4ohm mono load for 2 dvc subs)(should see full output of amp)

The amp is a stereo amp putting out 100w x 2 @ 4ohms if he just ran one sub off of each channel he would get more watts than the examples shown here. The subs are single voice coil models of the Infinity refrence 1220w. What my suggestion was to bridge the amp giving him a rated output of 300w x 1 @ 4ohms @ 12.9v input. what I was trying to find out would the series wiring of these two 4 ohm speakers be better. Would it make that much of a diffrence.

wiring them in series would only give him 75w/ sub.....go w/ the 1 sub /channel
