Eclipse AVN2454 Navigation Headunit w/ backup camera
2 Cerwin Vega Stroker's 2000w rms 4000peak each
polk db6750 comonents up front
diamond audio d661i coaxials in rear doors
Massive Audio P3000.1 3000wrms @ 2 ohms 6000 peak
The problem seems to be that even with a stock high amp alternator and optima red top battery the lights still dim horribly on hard notes, to the point where the amp clips as it's not getting enough voltage. What would be the best way to correct this problem? Optima yellow top, Kenetik 2400a, Capacitors, and other smaller Kenetik batteries mounted inline of the amp all come to mind, I just want the simplest and least costly route. Is it true that they say capacitors are only good for a few good hits and then need to recharge? Anyways, here's some pics of the install.
