frequency

That is not what the EQ is meant for, also I only ever use the EQ to cut, boosting will add to distortion or at least add to the peakiness unless you're a really experienced acoustic tech/engineer.

If your bass isn't hitting hard enough you need better equipment (sub/amp/wiring/enclosure) there is no substitute for it, using bassboost and eq to achieve the bass you are satisfied with will only leave you with blown speakers and horrible sq.

You have 6 12" woofers and still want more bass? Sounds like you did something wrong. I'd go over the tuning once more to make sure you're not cancelling out bass with the various knobs on your amps, HU, & whatever processors you do have.

Btw, the subs are in a sealed box about 1 cu.ft. each. The bass is loud but I want it to be "chest-squeezing" in nature, not more of pounding, if you know what I mean.

Well that chest squeezing is usually because something is loud lol. You may want to consider a ported box because it will be significantly louder as well as hitting lows which you can really feel

i bet you anymoney you have your crossovers wrong bud. at first i had mine crossed way to high and my sub sounded barely loud because it was all the way up. well after taking my low pass down a bit, my sub was 3x louder.

Um, that would mean you want it louder! LOL! Porting is one way. Do you know what your frequency response is? Pulling down the peaks should help. I think until you know what is lacking you're just taking a wild guess.
