We are looking for some audio enthusiasts who would be interested in writing a detailed product reviews for some surround sound 5.1 and 2.1 home speaker systems.

are they powered? or do they require power? id be interested in reviewing a set of either or both. i have a 2.1 settup in my bedroom and a 5.2(left and right sub, slightly uncommon. lol) settup in my livingroom havent done any "reviews" formally but i have gone through quite a few home theater settups before finally deciding on one.

I'm in. I've recently been tinkering with my HT setup. 5.1 (well 4.1?) in my bedroom, Polk M60 towers, Polk M30 surrounds, custom built enclosures with 2 10" Alpine Type Rs on a Crown XLS1000 for subs. Sounds legit!

I have previous experience with reviewing sound equipment. So does whitedragon. I have a review posted of the Pio BS-21LR on Amazon if you'd like a reference. Only thing I don't have is test equipment like o-scopes and such. I'd be interested in reviewing the 2.1

these would be powered speakers mainly for home multimedia needs.

ok, well i have a spare receiver ~70W per channel @8 ohms(9 channel capable with LFE and full range sub signal). wasnt sure if it was standalone or not. it works better to have a standalone IMO. but id love to give either a shot. currently looking to change up my HT again and move my old HT into the bedroom so this would be great!

do you have any specs on the systems to share?
