Free music for college students

Yes.

Because I'm sure there are tons of college students who just cannot seem to find a source to "acquire" music from online //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

For some of my music I just rip it off streaming radio. I've heard of people setting up their home computer and then remote accessing it and having it download the songs for them, then drop it onto their computer through the remote access setup. Theres more than one way to get around school p2p blocks.

Also... Anyone got a good program for getting rid of the protection on WMA's??
i use muvaudio, it pwns.

it converts the file to any format you want and removes the protection from it in the process.

but it is not a free program...i paid like 20 for it.

but i am happy with it and i have never had a problem with it.

i use it with rhapsody to legally download songs then strip the protection from them //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

What does protection do?
it keeps you from using the protected files in ways that the copyright owner doesnt want.

for example, the songs i download from rhapsody are protected and you cant burn it to a disc or listen to it on another computer.

so by removing the protection you can do whatever you want with the file, ie: burn it, copy it, etc....
