What does the additional spider and lead wire upgrade do for the sub ?With the space you have available...and your amp's rating...if it were me I'd do 1 15" or 18" ssa gcon in a ported box built for it
You could run 1 good one or 2 entry level subs on that power. And Spokey has you on a nice sub.Change of plans.
I am now open to 15" subs
Any recommendations ??

D@mn that's such a sad attempt, I dont even lmfaoo.. You mofos didn't even have a booth this year. Or nothing that actually stood out and caught anyone's eye.www.caraudio.com
Also keep in mind that if you find a decent deal on some subs that are DVC2 ohm or DVC1 ohm or DVC 4ohm, that they can still be wired up as a SVC sub and ran as a SVC sub... Same goes for any DVC sub, but you will only be able to place HALF of the RMS value on that sub. Example .. wire up one coil of a 600 rms DVC sub at 1/2 the RMS value would be 300rms
Ive ran one coil on DVC subs and been just fine, and at later dates ran both coils without any issues. I still have some 15 year old subs that work very nicelyYou do realize you half the motor force as well meaning that you have less motor force to overcome the suspension forcing the overall response curve higher.
I don't ever recommend wiring one coil that throws the whole TS parameters in the trash as ts parameters are measured with the coils in series.
oh shoot, I dont have a garage. you had me worried for a secondI accidentally left my garage door open.

first time ever, and they caught me slipping.

im sure there are. I was just giving a recommendation from my personal experienceFor the same price range I think there's better options...
Man.. That is a great looking sub. Deff one of the best warranties in the business. It should do very nice in the proper enclosure for sure. Nice choice for the $. Let us know how it does for youDecided to go with the " UM18-22 18" Ultimax "
I have 4-10s in my 09 Cobalt and let me just say this...Daaaamn!!I have a - DOWN4SOUND JP95 - 1500W RMS 5 CHANNEL AMPLIFIER - Which can do : RMS power, 1ohm for CH5 BASS CH: 1212 W x 1
(From independent testing - Big D WIZ)
My rear cargo area measures:
43L x 22h x 16d = 15,136 = Cubic Inches
15,136 / 1728 = 8.759 Cubic Feet
I am deciding upon doing 4 10's or 3 12's in a sealed box.
I listen to mostly hip-hop but I previously had 2x12's and now I want hear something different
I am debating between:
3x Kicker COMPC12
VS
4x Alpine W10S4
I know that 3x12 has slightly more Cone Area (339 vs 314)
I am having a hard time finding the Motor Strength of both subs (Bi^2 / Re)
Can anyone help me make a decision, and also list your reasoning.
I want to stay < $400 on the subs.
(somebody recently stole my previous subwoofers, and now I just don't feel like spending heavy on new subs)
That's a great subDecided to go with the " UM18-22 18" Ultimax "
