JL is SQ (I guess) because it certainly doesn't get loud. I like my shiz to sound good too, but I like it loud. Or, should I say, I like the option of it getting loud. JL doesn't deliver there. And I'm not even getting into the price. Even if price were no object, I still wouldn't be buying them.

"Mainstream" has a captive and ignorant audience. 99% of people are too lazy to research, too ignorant to comprehend the information if they did or just want the convenience of buying the stuff locally. Or all three.

The 13W7 is the gangster sub, right? Can you really justify the $800 price tag? Even for full on SQ? I can't. The W6 the street sub? Still... $500+? Nope. Not me.

I can speak of JL vs internet brands because I have used, built for, tested and heard a crap TON of both in numerous applications. I can have any **** sub I want. And I don't run JL for a reason.
