Yes and no. It was producing more power but the signal was what is called "clipped" It is a distorted signal that will destroy your speakers and the amp eventually. In short dirty power.

So there were 2 problems. Overpowering and clipping.

Made like what? To not be able to handle well over their rated power? to not be able to handle a clipped signal? because they are not tanks. Cause and effect man.

alright well i just did it and set all my gains, it slams at 40-45hz, but when when i put music on there is barley any bass?? what do i do now

For starters it wouldnt hurt to get rid of that ebay box, and build you a real one.

Are you sure you are running them @ 2 ohms? What type of box are you running? sealed, ported and what are the specs of the box? Volume, tunning, port area?

Nope 2 dual2 4ohm drivers can only be wired to 1 or 4ohms...
