1200+rms at 1 or 4ohms???

i have a concept cc-d1200... just curious if a change of amps to a higher quality brand like viper, orion, kicker, etc. would give me a more clear sound?

if so, which amp can i get for 250 shipped or less????

power is power, if you have an amp that does 1200 @4 ohm and 1200@1 ohm, same power....
