fosgate amp question true power?

i was looking through the fosgate amp and the punch501s caught my eye. reading up on it it rated 1500@2ohms bridged.. now for like $190 that seems like one hell of a deal. so i was wondering if it is extremely overrated or what?

I'm using that amp right now because I am trying to get my money together for a Hifonics bx1500d. DO NOT but that amp, just save up for the hifonics, its a world better than the RF. I heard things I didnt think my sub can do after I hooked it up.

i had no intentions of picking one up for my self, just thinking it was too good to be true, i think my friend picked up the "2400watt" amp so i think ima feel bad for him now

I think Rockford Fosgate's amp line, along with everything else nearly is kinda going down hill....ok maybe falling off a cliff more rather.

It is rated at 1500w @ 2ohm, and my sisters got 588w @ 2ohm.

the 501s is NOT rated at 1500 watts. it is only rated at 500. 1501bd is 1500 watts rms not the 501s. i'm not saying that rockford is the best but they are solid amps. my 1001bd puts a 100 watts rms over what is rated at. i don't where you read it was 1500 watts but at rockfords website it is only 500 watts.

yes the punch line is bullshit. But the power line are very solid amps. My friend got a power 1501bd and its birthsheet read 1768 watts. I would say thats pretty underated.

ikesound must of made a miss print because that amp does not put out 1500 watts rms. the rockford website says it's only 500 and sounddomain says it's only 500.

punch are shit the power line is the way to go punch is best buy stuff power u have to get from dealer
