but back to the topic, i mean if they were both in a shitty time in the relationship, i guess the cheating saved their relationship in the longrun. i mean id be pissed, but atleast if she told the truth and i kept a close eye on her itd be alright. she just better not do it again, or its off to the woodchipper.

You are totally misconstruing my point.

Throw out all your religious bullshit. Monogamy is based on religion. Go back in time, there was no such thing until all these ideologies came into play. You will not agree with me because you believe in these, so I will not continue to argue this point. However, we as humans are ****** beings, and all monogamy does is limit our sexuality. I'm not saying screw everyone that comes in sight. That was a stupid point to make there. It just means you don't have limits on your sexuality, and if you talk to people in committed open relationships chances are the trust will be 300% more than a "normal" relationship. It's a lot more than what you're making it out to be. You have a feeling of freedom in your relationship, that you are not locked down and controlled by monogamy. That alone, is worth it to me.

Again, I know I'm the minority here and I'll get a lot religious believers and all on me, so this will probably be my last post on this topic. The problem is that commitment to most people mean in terms of ***. It's absurd. It's just like people "saving" themselves for marriage. It's crap made up and forced into our brains by religion. If you can't think outside of those confines, then it isn't for you.

Clearly, if your look at the percentage of people who cheat, and the number of divorces, something is WRONG!!

Why would you want to hold back on a natural urge for ****** pleasure? It doesn't mean ****ing this way and that at all.

You have a wrong conception of what I meant by open relationship, and you need to won't be able to understand fully until your head is outside of society's hold on you.

Anyone who cheats and confesses is an idiot, PERIOD! The only reason to confess is to make yourself feel better. You're certainly not going to make your partner feel better.

Here's my thoughts on cheating:

1. Don't do it in the first place. Let your brain do your thinking, not your dick.

2. If you do cheat, ask yourself why you did it in the first place. Are you tired of the same old ***? Are you losing feelings for the person you're with? Do they deserve the disrespect you're showing them by cheating in the first place? Depending on what the answer to the above questions are, do the right thing.

3. Either split up with the person you're with b/c you're not the monogamus type, or stop cheating. Everyone makes mistakes, but nobody deserves repeated infidelity.
