idk why the gtr is compared against the zr1 its comparable to the z06 price range and performance put another 40k into the gtr and im sure it would be faster than the zr1. and as far as bmw the m3 gets owned by the new 5.0 mustang in price and performance

Correct, the Z06 is much better competition to the GTR, but a GTR will NEVER be as fun to drive as a Z06.

The M3 handles better, and is a much better all around car, but also costs more. If performance is all that you are going for, the Mustang is a fine choice. But you get what you pay for!

I'm talkin small repairs nga //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif A merc diesel also did 1mil I believe.
Let me put it this way...You don't take care of a Japanese car, and it won't break. You don't take care of a European car, and you'll be cryin for yer mommy. American cars just do whatever the hell they please lol. Some last, some don't. Some break a lot, some don't.
i totaly agree there...japs u can run into the ground w no maintence and they will roll 4ever...euros u need do do preventative maintence american cars u just fix when it breaks cuz usualy random....i have a 2001 grand am wife got in 03 w 14k on it and now it has 105k on it and i have not done **** to it but oil changes and plugs and brakes....lol but i have other people whos american cars bust left n right...kinda luck of the draw with domestic

One thing you can be sure of when it comes to Domestics...When given the option, stay the hell away from automatics!

GM: Don't get an auto

Chrysler & Affiliates: Change the oil

You are a Ford fanboy, huh. The Ford Mustang 5.0 is a POS. /thread

incorrect the mustang had better handling in testing and was faster, better braking as well. they stated there was absolutely no reason to buy the m3 unless you just love the car. this is compared to the 2011 5.0 gt, older mustangs **** at handling always owned by camaros but this time they did it right.

Nope. But it is obvious to me that between an '11 GT, SS, or SRT8, the GT is the one to go for. Again, that is my opinion, but it would seem to me that every car magazine agrees as well lol.

Now the /thread part...how can you end a thread about Foreign cars by calling the 5.0 a p.o.s.? I'm confused nga

However many g's a car pulls in a xxxft. skidpad is irrelevant to handling as a whole //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif And who is they and where is this quote where they said the M3 is worthless?

A car is a whole lot more than numbers. It's hard to quantify how a car feels, and its tendancies over rough surfaces, sudden movements, and how easy it is to catch it after the tail comes out.

imo for the '11 model year the GT, SS, & SRT8 are about as close as the big 3 muscle cars have EVER been. there is no clear cut winner imo. it's really all up to preference between ford/chevy/dodge.

having driven the '11 GT, rode in a SRT8 Challenger, & owning a '10 SS...the Camaro has the nicest ride by far imo.......the 5.0 is very nimble, but the SS seems to ride better overall. the Mopar is like driving a damn boat.

not sure as to which car mag did the review and not that the m3 is worthless its definately a great car it was more to show how much of an improvement the new mustang is over the old ones the reason they stated that there was no reason to buy the m3 was not because it ****** they were very close and in my opinion a better looking car but the extra 10k the car costs if the price was closer it would be a toss up between the two. but if you have the extra money and perfer the look and interior feel of the m3 get it, its still a great car

the SS and GT are VERY close, but honestly the SRT8 is no competition for them. That doesn't mean that nobody is gunna buy the SRT8, because plenty already have and still will.

Exactly...That's what I don't like about the Camaro SS, it's too chunky for my tastes, but it works great for you and there's no problem with that. And yeah, the SRT8 is a total boat.
