ford taurus, pics, jesus

This is BS, but even if that car has 100000000000000000hp. it doesnt matter. look at the tires, what kind of traction could you get out of those? This is a front wheel drive car, no way. And another thing, my dads friend owned one, and to rebuild the top end of the motor, new valve train, etc, etc, it was like $6,000.00 now who is stupid enough to do that, cause if he has turbos and nos he would have to atleast done that. But my main point was traction.

i know! but its saweet!

that porsche is stock tho

and with some minor mods, one of em did 0 - 120 on like 7 seconds

very impressive

i actually mean minor mods, not nitrous and shit

So what you're telling me is that his 16 second car is running 11s... a full second faster than a Viper.

You said he "has some engine mods, not alot, but some".

Then as soon as someone raises the BS flag you start putting out crap like he has two turbos and NITROUS. NOS is for Fast and Furious wannabes. Anyone who truly mods cars would never call it nos.

Using a horsepower calculator.. for him to hit an 11's he has to have anywhere from 500 - 650 horsepower. You don't get that from "not a lot of engine mods". You state dual turbo setup on a yamaha motor, but the cost to modify that engine that support a dual turbo setup would cost more than the end result is worth.

So here's the deal.. 99% chance it's BS.

And if it is true, the person who did it is a moron.

I call it NoX...as in N-O-X...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif it's what my mechanic constantly told me, donwplaying the cheater canisters...

Well, on the nitrous canisters that I've seen, there's a large sticker with the letters NoX.

SIcne they come in canisters, I call them canisters.

My mechanic was not fond of the booster gas. Says it takes out the art of fine tuning cars. (He made a '83 corolla with about 700~750BHP using a single HUUUUGGGE turbo on a 1.8l engine, bored to about 2 litres). I think he was just pissed cause it took him about 6~10 months to build the engine alone, when a couple of nitrous shots would've produced similar results. That's why he calls them cheater cans or canisters. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

He was a senior mechanic at TRD (rallies are HUGE in Asia) for a long time. He gets engines that other mechanics don't even know exist. Awesome dude, funny as hell. Maybe one day I should go back to his shop with dual bazooka tubes dressed in canisters. He'll probably fling his wrench at it...
