I'd talk to TommyK, he could give you good advice about signle cabs. I would think that you may want to go with a smaller box if you plan to do straight out spl.

where do you plan on metering at and what rules are you using? different designs are better for certain things.

What year ranger?

Me and my buddy put a 15 Q in a 99 reg cab. The box was 2ft^3 and we had to move the passenger seat up quite a bit. We cut the center console out to make it like buckets to give us more room. Do all rangers have a 60/40 bench seat? Cause if you have 2 captain seats you can make the center concolse part of your box, might open up some more ideas if so.

no its two seats with a center console connected to the drivers side seat.

If i could take off the back panels that would make like a LOT easier but i don't think they are meant to come off
