?. when you fiberglass to a pillar or something, how do you replicate the rough texture that's on the part? i mean if you sand down the f/g area it will be smooth but the pillar or whatever has a texture to it.

SEM texture paint, available at most auto parts stores. O'Reileys here keeps it in stock ALL the time.

You do VERY light mists of texture until you get the texture you want. It comes out of the can black.

Then use PPG or SEM vinyl paint to paint the finished piece

I'm getting ready to hookup my nephews 94 civic. Was planning on molding out the panels anyway. I'll get a step by step guide of how to do it and post it up.

neverenough, why the fiberglass on the panels?
Why not just mold up with kitty hair?

Not trying to be a smartass, just the way I did mine in my old silverado...
