150 is attainable, were doing 149.3 in a 99 expo with 2 12" memphis Mojo's and a 4kw..... anything can be done with the right enclosure and subs

Daily tune? What hz was 149.3db done at?

i personally think you have two much power, i had failure with 1100 rms to one se. be careful

box was tuned for 60hz ...... tested multiple time with different setups and found that 60hz is the vehicles freq. Sounds great daily and smashes the (2) 12" classes at most comps in a huge truck

What did it do on a realistic daily tune i.e. ~34-36hz?

if you build the box right, you can use it for spl and daily usage....... box location and freq are what gets number for SPL.

my 147.3 was at 37Hz...never been metered before that but everyone at the comp said that was loud for 37Hz

im not going to put the full 1100 to each se. im going to have the gains set so each is only getting around 750ish. i have a question about that. when im doing the gain, will it distrort at 750ish if thats all the subs want to handle, or at the full 1100 potential? ie how do i make sure not to give them more than 750ish watts a peice

just keep the bass boost/loudness off on the deck and amp, only use the bass,mid,teb setting to adjust bass which will give you cleaner signal to the amp inturn can turn up the gain and not blow u're subs, 90% of why subs blow is caused by clipping, which is distorted signal that just gets amplified

Hello people...First time on this forumn...That 149.3 at 60Hz was in my truck...The box I use is the specially made one for the mojo 12's. 1 inch MDF. As a daily driver i have had no issue with bass dropping or anything. It does stay constant. Depending on money I will be getting another 4kw. One to each sub. So yes a 150 is very possible and I WILL be hittin it before the season is out.
