Ive been lookin around more and now i think im gonna get 1 JL Audio 10W6v2 subwoofer powered by an Alpine MRD-M301 in a sealed box. Do you guys think this setup is pretty good for mostly sound quality? Will the Alpine amp power pretty well?

Thanks for the replies. Would there be any difference between a 10W6v2 and a 12W6v2 in the sound quality department? If I would go with the 12" would you suggest a bigger amp than the Alpine MRD-M301?

The W6v2's are very good SQ subs imo. I think that setup will do you just fine.

I would suggest the MRD-M501

this is the model up and will give you more power, the sub can handle 400 RMS and this amp will give you 550 at 14.4 volts so with the average car's electrical system it would be more like 485 watts which is right where the sub is rated. For a good SQ set-up you still need plenty of power.....you can always adjust the amp down if you think it is too much. My buddy has the 10w6v2 with the 301 amp and it sounds nice but could use more power. Go with this amp in a ported box tuned low and it will sound perfect IMO.....
