Focal vs. MB Quart 5.25"

Looking for advice on which speakers to buy, the Focal 5K4411 or the MB Quart DKH 113 or any other pair of 5.25" speakers by each brand. does anyone have any helpful advice on which speaker is of better quality and would be better suited for an F-150 install along with a JL W7 13.5 & 1000/1?

or, for that matter, any input on the best-sounding speakers for any install? ive used MB Quart before, and was satisfied, but was given input about focal and am interested in seeing if theres anything else out there that would perform better.

I know for 100% that I would go with the focals. I have heard the 6.5s and I am about to get some of them. I haven't heard the mbs but focal is very very clear sounding.

i agree, and thats my dilemma. i've only heard the MB Quart's, and have only been told that the Focal's are quality as well. im not big on hearsay or word of mouth, so thats why i come to you kind folks for a 2nd, 3rd, 4th opinion etc...

I can tell you Focal is a extremely nice brand. As is MB Quart. I do think MB has lost a little "Pizazz" since they sold out, but are still a well regarded name in car audio. I have not heard either of the speakers you speak of tho. So I hope someone with real knowledge will chime in soon.

just my 2 cents but my only problem with MB Quarts is they have more of tingy sound where as the focal sound a little more natural sound.You will not be disappointed if you go with the focals.You have to listen yourself to decide.

Focals I've heard are clean..
