Focal vs. MB Quart 5.25"

For my opinion not to matter it seems that more people are saying focal.

I've been enjoying MB Quarts for about 4 years now, but i haven't heard focals... always wanted too though.

I'm pretty sure either speaker would be a very wise choice for you. If i was you i would give the focals a shot, if for no other reason than to try something new. Plus focal has a flawless rep, i really don't think you can go wrong with them.

excellent. it looks as though its unanimously focal...i appreciate all your help, looks like im going with focal. ill update when i install them, let you know how they sound!

They will sound freakin awsome. Unless you are doing a custom install go to a local audio shop and ask for some baffles to put behind those speakers so that not as much sound goes into your doors and such.

MB Quarts their new widesphere designed tweeter is amazing. Yes my buddy is a distributor for Focal have been exposed to it several times and I used to own a few sets of QSD which come from preMaxsonics ownership and I still give it to the new widesphere design of MB Quart. Other then that look at Polk Audio.

I would say Focal as the last time I heard MB Quartz I wasn't extremely impressed with them. They have gone to the wayside recently I believe.
