focal k2 power 165kr sound terrible

you should stop before you blow your tweeters.... did you see what I said? your head unit does not offer any of that capability. if you wire the tweeter straight to the amp without your head unit to cross things over you'll blow the fk out of your gear.
your goal is to first

get an active capable head unit for example pioneer 2800bs or 3800bs, 4800bs, 5800bs.

the top rca output from the head unit will be tweeter

the mid rca will be midrange

the bottom will be subwoofer

buy some rca splitters and split the midrange rcas so you'll have two lefts and two rights.

tweeter rca should be plugged on channel 1 and 2. same with speaker wire.

channel 3 and 4 will be left mid rcas and the speaker wire will be bridged

channel 5 and 6 will be right mid rcas and the speakers will be bridged as well.

you will need to start off the head unit in network mode or else you'll blow your gear. report back when you are at this stage. If you still haven't changed head units then nothing else matters, you'll have the same sh*tty issues over and over again.
I'm pretty sure that amp can run active

Is he close to you?

Good day,I installed my focal k2 power 165kr fronts by professional installer with sound treating material in the doors. And they sound absolute terrible. I tried three different amps and all sound the same. It feels like the bass is missing and give me headache. I tried a zed levithian amp, a nakamiki pa2004 amp and JL audio 500/4 amp. All sound the same terrible.

What am I doing wrong here?

Alpine Ina w910 headunit.

Thank you

you didnt listen at all, return that **** or you can play with the EQ and keep using the crossover. That head unit is not active capable at all either.

that head unit will only work if you use the crossover that came with the focals. Otherwise its useless to plug stuff straight into the amp. Stop buying stuff and confirm with us before you waste more money.

What head unit then?

before that though. put the focal crossover back on like how you used to do it and try using the kenwood head unit to properly tune the set first to see if you can achieve anything first without swapping again.
I will. What settings is suggest Ed?

Or use the leviathan's amp crossovers. mid channel should be on low pass around 3000 to 5000hz, tweeter channel should be high passed around the same hz as well.

afterwards just use the kenwood's EQ and try to cut peaky nasty frequencies out.

Here's the controls on the amp

This is what the dealer told me. But the tweeters don't sound right. They give this high pitch sound.

HIGH PASS set at about 25Hz for initial listening.

LOW PASS set at about 100Hz (1/2 way between 75 and 120)*for initial listening.

Set 1st push switch in to "LP-1-4" and set 2nd push switch to "LP"

Set LEVEL control for desired loudness.

YOUR SUBS WILL WORK.

*

Now looking below to Chs 1+2:

Set HIGH PASS to between 85 and 290 Hz*for initial listening.

Set LEVEL*control for desired loudness.

Set slide switch to "HP"
