FML Summer school?

Ok, well i guess i need to vent. Im a junior in high school. I maintain a 3.45 GPA. This semester i have been very stressed. My job requires me to work more than i am capable of working and maintaining my GPA. I had an A, A-, B, B-, and C. The C was in math. My parents are forcing me to take a summer school course to increase my grade in math. I Offered to retake the class next year but they said i can not, they say i have to take it in the summer. Im really on the breaking point. Im to the point of moving in with a friend because im that upset with them right now. Im not really sure what my options are. Today, first thing when i woke up my mom came in and said we have to get out the ACT stuff to study for the ACT they want me to retake Sat. Then she told me about how she signed me up for this bullshit summer school course. So im sure ill get flamed for this from some of you nonunderstanding immature jackasses but thanks to the ones who provide some input.

that sucks, but what you gonna do. i'm having to retake some classes for college in the summer. but ya id be pissed. does the C affect your GPA that much? and they just want you to do good in school nothing wrong with that. i mean like me, i did bad and now im paying for it. no scholar ship or that good stuff. so i have to pay for it all.

I understand that they want me to do well. But the C doesnt effect my GPA much and I will still retake the class, just not in the summer.

Moving out would likely cause you more stress. Use the parental cash cow as long as you possibly can.

lmao. you don't get it, man. providing a roof over your head and providing food to eat everyday most likely costs more than you could make at your job even if you dropped out and worked full time.

no i meant what i said..but seriously if i had to redo highschool i would of tried harder and take the sat about 3 times..i was 10 points on the sat away from 8000 a year oppposed to 2 a year....it pays off to try

Im working 60 hours a paycheck in the summer. Which isnt bad. But now with summer school. Idk how its gonna work out. Ive taken the ACT 3 times now. Ive done extremely well. The collage i want to go to will give me plenty of scholarship money plus i have enough to make it through collage without debt(grandpa passed away).
