FM modulator or HU auxiliary input?

Hi guys! I'm new here and I hope you could help me with this. I just recently had a dvd system installed in my SUV. However, the installer had to use an FM modulator for the audio to come out thru my car speakers. I know my HU has an auxiliary input and i just need an adapter. The audio works fine but I was wondering if the sound would be better i.e. digital if I make use the auxiliary feature in my HU. Thanks!

use the aux it will sound a whole lot better than a fm mod

Yeah i'd go with AUX input...FM mods ****...to much static, cause you actually play the sound through a radio station...the AUX input, you have direct sound from DVD.

Yup AUX and it wil be more convinet. I think the installler was to lazy or just wanted to sell u more equipment.

aux is better, a direct connection so better. u'll lose quality w the fm mod
