FM Modulator - Am I Even Close To Wiring This Right? RCA input where

I Just installed my flipdown tv in my car, powered just by regular 12V and ground, and its bein run to my xbox. I already have an FM modulator and the cheap speaker in the TV is starting to piss me off so it thought I might try and install it but it doesnt come with instructions.

Seems easy enough, it just picks up signal through the antenna or something and plays it right? Its got an antenna input/ouput, basically just 2 but connectors to get the unit into my antenna loop.

Its also got a red and black wire, assuming I can just wire this to 12V switched and a good ground.

BUT

Its also got on the side 2 female RCA type inputs, they are labelled AUDIO INPUT R and L, since I have a premier 860 mp deck I still have one set of unused RCA ouputs on the back of my deck, is that what this would plug into? I believe its my rear/mid connection if it matters.

Is that all there is to installing it? Or does this audio input have to be run to the tv somehow? (would be a big *****)

The rcas have to run from the tv to the fm mod. Or if your deck has an audio input that would work as well.

Other than that you are pretty right on. They are easy to install. Running the wires can be a little bit of a pain though.

I dont thinkmy premier has a audio output.... but its not hooked up to the tv in any way either.....

Also my TV only had one set of connections and that was for audio/video cables coming from my xbox, there was no other plug I dont think..... maybe a reverse camera hookup.... ****

If Im not mistaken, you have to run Y connectors at the back of the TV since your running the xbox also.

That makes a little sence. I dont see why they would only give you one plug if they know your going to be running it off of something and it would also need a line from the headunit

ohh,,, maybe they dont think youll be running an fm modulator..... and just listenning to the shitty speaker they installed

Well I definetely need a line going from the fm modulator to the tv though? There was only one connection left unconnected on the tv and that was called video 2, I thought it was only for a rear view camera though.....

This is the pic of the back of the box, very smal I know, inperson its no bette,r i have to look at it with a mag glass I think if I wanna see it better.

But it shows connecting the 2 RCA jacks going right into the "CAR DVD PLAYER" (looks like a deck, but would that be my xbox since its playing my dvds?) and the power/ground in the center. But then it says to connect a video output from my dvd player to my tv ( obviously my xbox is hooked up to my tv already )

So do I even need to run any wiring to the tv or is it simply using a R/L rca from my deck, and wiring in the antenna?

Kinda confused
