Flipping my Type R

Alright, so I know this might sound stupid, but I got a pre-fab box, and its 1.5cf before displacement. Now im thinking if I flip around my type R this will get me around 1.75cf maybe... Can I do this with a ported box, and how will I go about doing it? I did try and search this for a while and got nothing and google has not been nice to me lately. So can anyone shed some light on this?

yes, if your driver displacement is .25^3 ft

also maybe try putting ur possy to ur neg and ur neg to the possy to reverse the polarity of the sub but its all wat u think sounds better.

Well if your box is 1.5 BEFORE displacement you are getting 1.43 since the type R is .07cuft displacement. If you invert it you will add .085 to the box giving you 1.585 net, not really the best for an R, I would get a new box for that thing, because a single R with a decent amount of power will get VERY loud...I have a perfect flair ported box for the type R and pics if you wanna pm me Ill help you out...
