Flip up display in 911

I have a 911 and the front vents come out

about 3.5". The only flip up display is the

eclipse 7002 that i have seen that comes

out far enough to clear.

Is there any other lcd indash units that

when fliped up and come out away from

the units face 3-4"?

Hi,

I run a few shops over here in London, England, and we have a unit over here made by kenwood with a 6.5" lcd touch screen called a kvc 1000, dunno if you guys have them in the US but you should be able to get an equivalent, space it out slightly from its mounting (din) hole and then by ringing up kenwoods tech dept they will tel you the chain of commands that will the allow this screen to over-extend out more than it can normally do
