FLi Acid Series subs

Has anyone here on the forum used or have any experience with the FLi Acid Series subs? I'[m not interested in the amplified models, only the bulk sub. Thinking about a 10", powering with an MB Quart DSC-450 Discus amp.

Haven't found much online in the way of reviews, but a couple different places say they pack a good punch for being low cost units. Made by Vibe, an audio company in the UK I believe, with a good reputation.

Just looking for comments if anyone has one.

My budget is tight as heck unfortunately. Will be using whatever I decide on in a 96 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I'm also using a "sonotube" enclosure that I already have built for a 10" sub.

I've also been looking at one of the lower cost JBL subs and the Polk db Series subs. I listen to mostly blues, rock and progressive rock, so I don't need anything that will rattle the windows. Just need to fill in the bottom end a bit. I'm replacing an old Pioneer 8 Ohm and the Discus amp struggles to drive it with enough power.
