got a text message last Thursday .. "PROMISE, they will be sent out by Saturday at the latest., with tracking #s.. ( saturday as in 6 days ago ) guess what............. nothing

I can't believe this is still going on. Those of you who seriously want a resolution all need to file a report with the Police Department. Seems like the only way things will get resolved is if he's actually faced with the real (legal) consequences of his actions. Earlier in this thread he complained about how he doesn't work on amps on weekends or past 6pm for "family time". If his freedom from his oh so important family is in jeopardy that might kick his *** into gear.

Or if not, just count it as a loss and move on.

hey Matt, I was going to post this in the thread(s) about mike40504 still having people's amps (mine included) But even though I have posted in those threads already, it now says I need 50 posts to post again? anyway, I was going to post the number to the Detective on the GRPD that I was working with to get this figured out. I was hoping the people that are still waiting for their amps would call and add themselves to the list. Anyway, here is what I was going to post, if you could post it for me, that would be great. Here is a direct phone number to a detective that I spoke to at the GRPD. Sorry, I don't recall the detective's name, but if you tell him your story about Mike still having your amp, I am sure he can add it up. My complaint number is 1133942 if he needs a reference. 616-456-3332

I thought I posted it here too, but I guess not. The deputy that I have been working with said most likely nothing will be done (all he could find was my complaint), but if we get everyone who is still waiting to call, then I think they will pursue it. I am pretty sure he is way past $500 worth of amps in his possession which means it is a felony and would be serious.

So again, if you are still waiting for an amp, please call the Grand Rapids Police Department at 616-456-3332. This goes directly to a detective that I have spoken too a number of times. If you give him my complaint #1133942 he can look it up and add to it?

WEll the OP says it all in post one..

- hes a genius at fixing amps

- a bunch of us send him our amps, after many of us get references and good feedback from a few ppl

- He claims amps are fixed

- doesnt send any of them back

- cops got involved

- he returned a few

- but now 15+ people are still without amps

He has had mine since February.. He claimed when I sent my amps to him he would have them fixed and returned in one week

And I thought I was lucky getting mine back but they arent fixed right. I finally got to hook up my sub amp and as soon as the power turns on it popped the sub hard as hell. I had the gain all the way down and it bounced a full can of coke off my truck (18" fi audio bl). It never did that before, so I guess I need to get it shipped out to someone else and get it fixed again.

Anyone have the number for the guy that was handling a few of the complaints for these cases? There was a specific number for the grand rapids pd which would connect you to a cop that has heard about a few of our complaints. And I'm on my phone with no 3G andit takes forever to search and reload pages. Thanks.
