fixing blown sub

A guy has he2s for sale. he says they are blown. he said they make a distorded and thumping noise. he was driving them with a bd1500. he say he thinks the box was too small (that wouldn't do it, would it?) anyhow, they're cheap... any way to fix them? how much? thanx!

u gotta contact the manufacturer and see if they make cones. It needs to be re-coned, including the voice coil, sorround etc. I would stay away FOR SURE.
