Fixing blown amp?

I have a punch 200ix thats very similar to that amp you have- they are extremely prone to toasting. Mine had popped 3 diff times for 3 diff reasons. Real close to throwing it away.... Try to over-rate the parts by 20% ...good rule of thumb to go by when repairing electronics. Say its rated to handle at max 5amps, get one thats capable of handling 8amps...avoids blowing the part again.
I may be wrong here...but 20% of 5 is 1.... 5 + 1 = 6....

I have a zapco 4.0 and 6.0 that was stored in an area near the beach and corroded it pretty bad. Never was powered since it was stored working...

Everyone I found the problem it's the RCA cables, I had my electrician mate have a look and he pulled one of the cords halfway out and the subs...
