very possible...may try some sono tubes since they are cheaper....I've used them b4..

DJ is workin on a slot port design tuned in the 40's with a shit ton of port area

if all else the box is just 2 sheets of mdf...can be redone

Wonder where he got that idea. LMAO!! He's been trying to get me to go with a smaller port but in all tests the big azz port won!!!

I gotta try and see what my car meters at with the meter on the drivers side window. Lakota what format measures that way?

I know, I put the meter on the wrong side:laugh: The difference would probably only be a couple tenths, depending on which side is louder.

This is the only 2 15 setup i tried in mine...it was a horrible box but i had some good power and it did a 150.3, played crazyyyy low as well, youll get there:





No need too tune it really high, as long as ur truck peaks low youll put up numbers just the same

gonna try and trade my vr4000 for a ab400.1 and run it @ .5

That 4000 is strong amp, and clean power.

the vr is a beast...but I doubt I would pick up a 2 aq2200's instead

I've heard mixed things on them, and they do rated @ 14.4...idk tho, I got plans, just gotta see how the summer goes and how the cash flow is

my buddy has a ab 100.1, and I'm impressed with it......reason goin to a 400.1 is effeciency especially in the lanes

the vr4000d likes its power, even tho I do have the electrical

I would almost put money on it....2 AQ2200s vs 400.1 both at .5

Ive used both 200. and 2 500.1s

But thats just my opinion, cant go wrong with AB
