First time metering....147.5 today

Well metered for the first time today with the setup in my sig. 7.25 cube box tuned to 35 hz....daily pounder

first run sealed with mic on the windshield, playing test tones, and did a 147.2 off 40 hz

second run did a 147.4 hz off 41 hz all sealed up with mic on window

third run I came up playin music and tested somethings out. Put on some Lil John BME CLICK...posted a 147.5 with car ALL SEALED up. Looks like my trailblazer likes it sealed, sounds good to the ear tho too. I tried with windows down and such but not much luck. I think if I had my box tuned to 40 hz that I may be able to pull a 149 maybe 150...its got potential

yeah true....my low tunin is hurtin me

but its a daily box, and I made this new box 7.25 cubes to handle the power...my 8 cube box just didnt handle the vr4000d

Im not sure on the Trailblazer's res freq...but the older blazers liked around 50hz burp.

If you have a TL itd be easier to find what you should be burping at.

But like lets say my Explorer for instance, Ive tested its res freq to 44-45hz, so thats where i should be burping at for best possible results.

I can tune anywhere from 30-40hz and itll burp the loudest at the same freq ever time.

And it likes it sealed too......I lose when i open a window or door.....but thats a nice score for sure regardless.
