First system creation :) Help?

Hey Guys,

I'm purchasing my first system for a 11 civic coupe LX...I mainly listen to rock but appreciate some base heavy music....I primarily want crisp base and some clean volume.

My biggest concern is that the pieces im interested fit together...

Front speakers - Polk Audio DB6501 $107

Sub 12" SSA DCON 12D4/S4...is dual coil ok? $125

AmpAQ750 Amplifier $199

HU CDA-105 $150

Alpine

I'm looking to get the sub enclosure at the car audio shop..I know that I can get a custom one which will fit better but i'm not picky.

I appreciate your help in looking over it!

youre on the right track, i like what youve picked out, but the enclosure will make or break this, spend the money and get a custom enclosure to spec for that sub

if you're looking for the most out of your system i highly suggest either getting a custom built or build it yourself. all you need is some wood glue and wood screws, lowes will cut it all for you if you don't have the tools for that.

as for your choices in equipment, it all seems very solid. you want the dual 4 version so you can wire it down to 2 ohms and get the most out of it.

ok first of all, that is not how you spell "base". it's spelled "bass", like the fish.
