First rivalry comp

Friend of mine and i have been rivals with bass for about a year now. we're finally having a face off on January 12th with a couple other participants and a TL in some empty parking lot. first off ive got a couple questions because id like to win.

He has 2 BTL 18"s and an IA 40.1. but he has a stock alt, big 3, yt in front and huge marine deep cycle in the back. not sure where the gains are set at but its effin loud.

I have 2 X18"s with MT recones and an HK4000D, 250 amp alt, yt in front and big 3 done.

so first off id probably say hes overpowering me and has a more efficient amp but my car is also a LOT smaller than his. '99 explorer compared to '96 tahoe.

im lookin for some tips and input on my elec, box, and the actual comp. anything that can help me out. my box is tuned to 36hz so i plan on playing white girl. and anyone have an estimate on approx how much power i can run with my elec?

get on a tl before hand and figure out your peak freq ( just b/c your box peaks @ 37 dont mean your car will )

well i think im using a sensor from jbl...the s.m.a.r.t. or something..not mine so i wouldnt know. but ya this week ill be throwing some test tones on and measuring the response

if you guys are using a TL that definitly helps.....

- use tones where your box peaks at. btw what's yours and his box specs?

- GET A BATTERY FOR THE BACK BY THE AMP. It'll make a differance.

I already knew the body is more sensitive to lower frequencies. However, if your car has a nice peak (even at a higher frequency) it isn't that hard to tell it's louder than at a lower frequency.
