Hello all , and thank 'ee for welcoming me to the site (in advance).
Ok , heres my skinny...
Current Whips :
Mine : 86 honda accord dx (in progress/under destruction)
Lady's : 03 pontiac sunfire (i know.... but its not that bad.... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif )
Im looking to put a newly acquired (via ebay) bazooka csw1004 10" sub in the rear
love handle. (that fat spot in the trunk behind the wheel well and gas - fill - pipe). Im still searching for the right amp , a 402.5 kicker or similar. An ex roomate has a kicker 402.5 on 2 PBX 12"s and it bangs harder than a horny gorilla. I would like to fiberglass the 10 into that spot , but im not too sure if it would be better to fg over the existing carpet (somewhat molded to fit , but it still has a 1" gap to the metal) , or cut out a section of carpet and make my own form out of tape against the metal.. She's iffy about the whole situation as it voids most of her warranty... so i have ot be sure that with minimal repair (ie throwing a piece of carpet in) that this could be easily removed and no irreprable damage to the car is done %2voids most of her warranty... so i have ot be sure that with minimal repair (ie throwing a piece of carpet in) that this could be easily removed and no irreprable damage to the car is done (at least not anything noticeable).
Now onto my ride ,
i have an 86 accord P.O.S. that is still under destruction. I have pulled out hte back seats , in leu of oneday actually putting some decent money into the car , and it could be a nice little ride (via some crx body and some new fenders.... it really needs new fenders....).
Hopefully i can find a nicer one for a little bit more money , and i can put all my shtuff from this into the nice one , and do the work to it and make it show quality.
anywho , my planned setup in the accord is 2 PBX 15"s (1200w rms 1600 peak) , and whatever amp i have layin around to handle the power... along with remote dual batteries (or more if i need em) , dual alternators (15v), and entire rear seat/trunk area fiberglassed to hold both sus right behind the seats , and the amps on top with some built-in ccfl lights , then have the batteries in the back , with thier own little pod , and maybe even a fuel cell with its own little pod.
btw : did i mention all of that is modular and can be removed with a single 1/2" wrench.... lol.....
thanks all for reading....
