First post - CDT

Hey guys, I know there are a million posts on CDT's, and half of them are a new user's first post. So my first order of business is to apologize for another one.....

Anyway, I'm looking at the HD-62's, and the HD-62z's. What the heck is the zone adapter, and how does it work? I'm doing a fairly complicated carputer install, and would like as much information as possible.

you can look it up on cdt web site, I think it maybe volume leveler or something like that,but i could be wrong
