First ever install

First time I've put anything new in my car, only done new 2 way speakers to it. Had a lot of problems getting it going, but in the end it sounds really nice, and looks clean. I'm real proud. Just want to thank everyone here for helping out where I needed it, I don't think it'd have turned out so well without the forum here.

Sony-CA333 HU

Sony 6-Disc changer (under pass. seat)

Sosche 5ga. batt and ground cables

Alpine MRV-T503 2/1 Amp

Alpine Type-E 12" Sub

Dual 2-Way speakers(no I didn't hook up the blue leds for them)



Looks good to me



Only thing I need is something to cover that hole under the new HU. I had a stock double-din in there, and just used the stock bracket for the new one, so there's a hole there. Anyone have any ideas?

Those dual speakers though wont do you much good though.

You could get a in dash EQ or something like that to cover up the space.

Only thing I would change is remove that Amp from the Sub box. I know ALOT of people do it, but I used to work @ a repair shop and that was the most common cause of defective Amps.

Thanks all. I was using the HU's faceplate case to kind of stick in there to cover it, it looked cool, but won't stay in. I might screw it into the bracket.

As for the amp there, this is just a cheap setup I picked up for now, I'm definitely going to upgrade when I can. In total I spent $150, for everything including the HU, wiring, amp, box, sub, and 2 way speakers.
