First mistake. Silicone sealant generally costs the same or more than wood glue, and is without question harder to apply. Caulk isn't made for adhesive purposes, that's what glues are for. If you start running that hard, then it very well may come apart. If nothing else, you might get some delicious vibrations. Trust me on this topic if nothing else, I've had LOTS of experience with using caulk as an adhesive, as basically anyone on here could tell you //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

so am i going to notice a big gain going from 30 to 33-34 in a daily setup?

if i want to make it as smooth as possible would i put a ton of bondo over it and smooth it way down or cover it and go the glass route?

well im trying to go with a smooth like finish like glassin so its real smooth and shiny i was thinkin just using bondo but didnt know if it would work or if i had to do a glass project //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif :stuck:

are you redoing the enclosure or just moding that one. i dont know if i read correctly but is the enclosure held together by just cualk?. wow. any ways if it is i sugest puting a couple screws all around the enclosure or brad nail the hell out of it.

if i read it wrong then disregard the first part.

you can do a layer or two of fiberglass for added strength, then bondo and sand. then paint and clear coat.

::UPDATE::

well i took out some of the port wall gettin me to 33hz

hopefully it sounds good

plus i started doin the bondo and a assload of sanding. . . . then even more sanding should come up lookin pretty nice when im done //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif
