heres my first shot at a box its alittle smaller than what everyone else does for 2 type r's but i wanted to keep as much space as possible in my trunk it also was tuned to 30hz but i wanna try uppin it to about 33-34 - ill be carpeting it next week along with my amp rack

^^ thanks i wish my blow thru hole was bigger and i could have had my amps fit inside it but there about 3 inches to long on each side i also left a space about 2 inches ( cant tell from the shityy pics - it was gettin pretty **** hot out) on top of the rack to let some of the sound thru dont know if it helps or not

that enclosure looks very nice. are those 12"ers? whats the enclosure volume after port displacement?

leaving that 2" space on the amp rack from that blow trugh does help releve some of the air preassure build up in the trunk. so your rear speaker deck wont vibrate as much and neather will your trunk.

again the enclosure look very nice. good job on it , i dont even see why you would like to carpet it, since that white looks realy good, it could just be the pic, but it looks good from that pic to me.

thanks guys ill probably be changin the tuning to 33 in about a week after i get home from vacation hopefully it doesnt get to damaged taking it back apart to take out part of the port wall

did you glue ot together?

if so, you wont be taking that apart without breaking it, and i wouldnt dare. it looks nice.

yeah its caulked so i thought if i cut it with a knife first it might come apart ok

i think i might goto my local audio shop and see if they'll meter it for me

it may break apart without glue.
