the hifonics amps arent the greatest. Theyare okay budget amps but if you can get the 7801 for a little more do it. also have you looked for a sundown SAZ1000d?

the MTXamp is actaully like $20 cheaper. And yea Ive looked at the Sundown1000(i think that amp isnt big enough/expensive/hard to find)

I would go with the Hifonics, but I am a bit biased for Hifonics and against MTX.

But for the price and output, Hifonics all the way. Solid amplifiers.

I wouldent buy a hifonics for anything........

eD 9.1 is fan cooled and comes with a 3 year transferable warrenty

MTX is nice too,but unless you pay extra for autherized you get zero warrenty

so most of you are saying FiQ18" with the MTX (1200rms) is that good enough for the 18"????

It just makes more sense to go with the Hifonics(1600rms) for the 18"
