nice work! how much are those clamps i really need one? can u get em at homedepot..
what did u use to cut the whole out jigsaw or router?

thanks guys, i got the corner clamps at lowes. i think they were about 6 bucks a piece. they helped out alot. not only do they hold the boards in place but they also hold them at exactly 90 degrees.

i used a router to "counter sink" the subs. it worked out perfect. i went 1/8 oversize to allow for the carpet. not to mention this was my first time i had ever used a router for anything.

it wasnt that expensive either, and it was very easy to work with. had a hard time finding black though. i have 3 walmarts within 35 miles from my house i had to go to all three to find some.

did you have to remove the backseat to fit that monster of box in there?

well i did have to go thru the cabin to get it in. i just folded the back seats down and slid it thru. the opening to the trunk is 32 1/2" wide and the box was 32 so it was a tight fit to say the least.

i bet, see mines a convertible a bit harder to get a box in there, i am looking forward to the build but not looking forward to gettin in my trunk.

build two seperate boxes. make a cardboard box to the extact shape of the boxes your gonna build and see if they will fit thru the trunk lid opening.

great idea, i never thaught about that. my box needs to be either 1.5ft^3 to 2.25ft^3 sealed or 3ft^3 ported, the port would be about 48in^2 and be 14.5" long , not sure witch way i should go

no problem, i cant get over how good it looks. the clamps help out alot. i started to get four, but i only got two. i could have had the box finished in 3 days instead of 5 if i had 2 more clamps. oh well...
