fine tuning sons system

I am a noob but have been reading a ton the last 6 weeks. I got reading because son wanted a new system for his car. Needless to say we got everything done and it sounds **** nice for not knowing shit 6 week's ago. No hiss no nothing just clean sound. Went with 1' Kappas, 4*6 kappas and 6*9 kappas in the rear deck. The 1" tweeters are running off the HU and the others r running off a JL 300/4. The sub 13w7 in running off a JL 1000/1. Also replaced stock batt and added a Kinetik in the front and another in the rear. The voltage drops to 13.6 hitting pretty hard thats after doing the big 3 in 1/0. It sounds good after playing with the gains and all but would it be worth it to take it to a shop and have them adjust the gain properly and also play with the freq settings? I have the 4 channel on HP so not getting any bass or mids hardly. Can anyone help me out here or do you think I should just take his car to a shop and do it right? This forum has been a great help and i have gotten some great advice and also some good deals here.

So I can tweek the 4 channel to get some mid base out of it also.. Really though with that w7 pounding can U hear midbase LOL?

general crossover point would be 80hz for hp on the 4 channel and lp on mono.

when done properly,yes. It may take some deadening of the doors, and sealing them helps a bunch too. The goal is to blend the mid bass and sub bass as smoothly as possible so there is no super distinction between the two.

Yea forgot to mention we dampened the doors and the trunk also.. I will have a look at the crossovers then...
