Well it took me a few months but this was my big summer project other then car audio, of course.

Build Consists of:

XClio Wind tunnel full tower

DFI Dark P35 mobo

Freezer Pro 7 with Liquid Silver 5

Intel Q6600

(4x2gb) 8Gb OCZ 1066mhz ram

(2x640gb) 1.2Tb WD HDD

HD4850 MSI 512MB graphics card

LG 22" LCD

Computer is running Vista Ultimate, over clocked the processor to 3.8ghz per core, ram timing was tightened, graphics card is overclocked to the maximum allowed. I have crysis running at the highest graphics with no lag what so ever. I have yet to bench test the computer to get a rating but the Vista ratings are at 5.9 on everything obviously. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I am very happy with the outcome and will always build my own computer from now on. BTW the whole build cost me a grand minus the monitor which I got for $200. So $1200 total for the whole setup if that.

I ended up getting the Vista Ultimate from school, cost me a few bucks cause I could never find any keygens. I know a lot of people hate Vista but I have had it since the beta two years ago and never had an issue so I will stick with what works for me I guess, everyone has there opinions

i dont like your video card but every thing eles is fine. good job bro
the HD4850s were the highest rated cards in the $250 and under range by far, NVidia dropped the ball since the new ATI cards came out and are yet to recover. Honestly im not going to drop $300 or so on a graphics card when all i use the computer for is school and surfing, and a little gaming here or there. Its just not worth that type of investment though

Ya nice comp none the less 8GB of ram //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

Ive run prime95 for a simple hour test and had no issues, temps start to get in the high 60s though, which im not a huge fan of. I will get pics if you really wish after an 8 hour test. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Yeah, I pulled the AC F7 pro off the quad. I would hit mid 60's at 3.6. I'm using the Xigmatek HDT-S1283 now and haven't gotten it higher than 55 degrees, however, the cpu is lapped. I believe my vcore is 1.36.

Why does it say you have the 32-bit installed? Install the 64-bit, otherwise all of that ram is useless; x86 can only address about 3.8gb. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Agreed. May as well reinstall now while it's fresh. I have vista ultimate enterprise x64, shit runs nice on my quad core 1.8. I haven't had too many problems with it yet, it just takes a bit of getting used to.
