Any one know of any sites online where I can find a transmission? Engine is an F23, 2001 Accord 5M, H22 transmission out of a Prelude will work as well.

Went to a transmission shop, first gear synchro is shot, and will bring the others with it. Explains why the car never wants to go in to first gear.

He said most likely it's because the previous owner didn't know how to drive a stick, the car has always been weird about going in to first (need to give it a touch of gas) ever since I bought the car, and it's just been getting much worse the last few weeks.

Well, at least we know what it is. Found one with a 1-year warranty for $400 shipped on Ebay.

i wouldnt go to ebay for anything you want to last (car related)

and you do major work on the bish EVERY week. why not save the hassle, and just drop all that money on a car that doesnt break EVERY week...

The store has been around since 2000, all they sell is japanese motors/transmissions and other misc parts, with a 1 year warranty. Nothing but excellent feedback.

I'm not buying one from a individual.
