Hate to tell you but that kenwood is only doing around 400-450wrms at 2 ohms. It was benched by someone to only do 614 i think at 1 ohm. Clean install though and props to you for pulling that number with that setup. I think you should upgrade the amp to an alpine m500 though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Would work good with those subs at a 2 ohm load. Much smaller footprint also.

very nice, but whatsup with the fiberglass inside the box as it looks stringy? I wouldnt be suprised if that box resonates really bad when you play it loud as looks thin?

the stringy is the bondo hair, its super thick but dries like that, most of it is cut off but in that pic we had just done it. it dosent resonate at all, the box is super solid

that 400-450 is at 4 ohms which is what the amp is rated at and ya i have heard that it was benched at 600-750 at 2 ohms. i never heard or read anything about it putting out at 1 ohm.

that pic was after 2 coats of it and we just packed the last of the batch in there. nothing had been smoothed out in that pic but we did it after.

That's sweet because now it lends well to you doing a false floor to flush mount the amp if you ever wanted to..

You should see how some of the insides of the fiberglass crap people post here.. Everyone is a critic.. Take it with a grain of salt.. People who haven't even heard your system telling u what it hits.. lawlz..
