I have just re-united the two brothers. They were separated for over 2 months. It must have been tough, but they've got their work cut out for them. i didn't know you were allowed to compare a type-r to these

j/k man. type r's are great subs for the price, these sure did burn a whole in my wallet. But the type r's are going to be much more user friendly seeing that they don't need as much power and weigh 1/4 of what these weigh.

if you really did want to compare the two though...mine would have more SPL for sure, type r would probably edge it out SQ wise
