another sub that fits this price range that I WOULD NOT count out.. would be the Memphis Audio Power Reference 12s.. they are INSANE! and like 70$ a woofer @ woofersetc.com

i have heard all three in multiple setups and voted pbx. imho, the pb and alpine are both winners.

Pioneer W3004SPL... very good subs get loud as hell and sound very good.
