I know this is a dumb question but do you subtract the subs displacement from the volume to get the final volume. my sub displaces 1.9 cuft so would that mean i would need a 3.9 cuft box to get it to be 2 cuft. im sorry i just cant remeber which way it is and i dont want to screw up. thanks alot

ok thanks. im sure i sound pretty dumb its just the last box i built i had the plans made for me so i didnt have to do the calculating but this time since im doing a sealed box i figured id just do the calculations. 24.5*16*14 is 5488 then i do 5488/1728 to get 3.17cuft so the actual box would be 26*17.5*15.5 does all this seem right? im pretty sure thats right but now my trouble is what the actual size will be with the sub. the sub is the mag d2 15". i want the box to be at least 2.5 cuft after the sub is accounted for. will it be. thanks again and sorry if all this seems dumb.
