hi i have a Alpine CDA-9815 head unit connected to a Alpine V12 MRV-1000 amplifier... i currently use the LPF of the amplifier and set the crossover of the amplifier to the desired frequency... my question is if i can use the built-in crossover of my player? it has -6/-12/-18/-24db/octave and frequencys from 20 to 200 on it....

do you think it is better to filter it using the amplifier and leaving the player on full pass or using the amplifier LPF or maybe doing both???
