After setting up a system in my brother's truck, I have the car audio fever again. I have figured out what I think am gonna use, and I would like the opinions of the more knowledgealbe (you guys)as to if I am getting the right equipment.
I am gonna be using this amp (already have it): http://www.woofersetc.com/p5815/XP600D--Crossfire-Mono-600-Watt-Amplifier.htm
and I am gonna be using three of these subs wired to about 1.5 ohms. I am kind of on a budget, and don't have a lot of air space.(behind back seat of a crew cab F-250. subs must be less than 5 3/8 deep. I heard these subs were good value for the money.http://www.woofersetc.com/p3774/RWE202--MB-Quart-8"-300-Watt-DVC-Subwoofer.htm
I am not sure about a head unit yet, but it will surely be something reputable with good pre amp voltage. I will also be running a good 4 gauge wiring kit.
The thing I am really questioning is whether these three 8's will out perform two tens just like them at one ohm. I just want them to be loud and clear. Thanks for reading this, Jake.
