The generic AM unit would allow me to fit the monitor and climate control only. In order to make all of the peices fit, the climate control frame had to be modified, and the space between the air vents & monitor; monitor & cc; cc & shifter frame were all significantly reduced from that of an aftermarket unit. How do I know this? That was what I had tried originally. The only way to make them all fit was using the wood frame.why didnt you just get a genaric DIN mounting thing for like a honda civic and cut the thing apart, and glue it with ABS cement to the panel there?
I did not think of it at the time. I am kicking myself in the head because I already have the stuff you need to bond plastic, and I did not even use it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif Even if cracks begin to evolve in the peice then all I need do is cut it out and refill it with the correct bonding material. I will have to wait and see what happens.and getting some hzemall.com plastic bodyfiller would have made your life alot eaiser - i hope for your sake that the filler dosnt come off the plastic 0_o
